About Shantha Mayadunne
Blending her 30 years of experience in the field of culinary art, Shantha Mayadunne today is a household name of every Sri Lankan home. With her own theme of ‘quick and easy cooking’ she has won many hearts of people. Her fan base prevails from kids to the old and from sheds to the mansions.
With her inherited
talents in cookery she has learned advanced international cooking techniques at
reputed cooking schools in many countries such as Australia,
UK, Singapore, Thailand, many states of India
etc.. She also is an Advanced Diploma holder from “Wilton School of Cake Making
and Decorating” Chicago, USA.
Career Highlights

She enters history as the first culinary demonstrator to host
a live television cookery program in Sri Lanka. This was done with
stated owned Independent Television Network (ITN)

She hosted the first live cookery programs done by Sri Lanka
Rupavahini Corporation, Sirasa TV and Swarnawahini.

The first to host a mass cookery workshop in Sri Lanka. (
